Q. Is the Z65p photo quality?
A. The Z65p enables customers to achieve the kind of detail traditionally associated with photo lab prints. This printer offers brilliant 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution (5.8 megapixel) in black and color on multiple paper types, including glossy photo and coated papers, as well as 4800 x 600 dpi on plain paper. The Z65p boasts a three picoliter microfine color drop size, allowing for better color transitions and more detailed textures. Featuring specially designed color tables that automatically install by region of the world, the Z65p delivers output that reflects varying geographical color preferences.
Q. What is Automatic Cartridge Alignment?
A. Automatic Cartridge Alignment eliminates the need for manual alignment. An optical sensor reads the alignment page and automatically updates the printer settings.
Q. What is Automatic Paper Type Sensing?
A. With this function the printer automatically recognizes different paper types and adjusts the printer settings for optimal print quality.
Q. Why dual paper trays?
A. Having two paper trays increases the amount of paper the printer can hold. It also reduces the hassle of having to manually change the paper each time you want to print on a different type of media.
Q. What is the benefit of variable drop size?
A. Variable drop size dramatically increases the quality of the output. The 3pL drops are for highly detailed areas, while the 10pL drops provide better fill in solid color areas. The printer driver automatically switches between the drop sizes.
