Q. Why would I choose a Lexmark E320 over an inkjet?

A. The Lexmark E320 is a laser printer that offers a number of advantges over an inkjet. This includes permanence of output to eliminate smudging, the ability to archive documents with no threat of fading, and a lower cost per page to minimize long term printing costs.

Q. Will the Lexmark E32X print cartridges work in the Optra E312? How about Optra E312 in the E32X?

A. Despite the similar product appearances, the Lexmark E320 and E320 cartridges will not work in the Optra E312, E312L products or the other way around. In addition, the memory and second drawer option are not compatible.

Q. Are the 3K and 6K cartridges interchangeable between the Lexmark E320 and E322 printers?

A. Yes. The Lexmark E320 and E322 printers share a common cartridge design. The E320 ships with a 1,500-page Starter Return Program Print Cartridge. The E322 ships with a 3,000-page Return Program Print Cartridge. Either of these printers gives you the option to purchase either a 3,000-page or 6,000-page cartridge after market.

Q. Does the Lexmark E32X share memory options with the T& W families?

A. The E32X products use the same expansion memory DIMMs as used in the Lexmark T & W products. The flash memory is not compatible as the E322 products use the SIMMs that were used on the Optra E312 & Optra S products.
